JanetBYRNEAshington (Formerly of Fife Scotland)

Aged 84 Years

Peacefully in hospital after an illness fought with determination on 22nd December 2024.

Beloved wife of Archie, much loved mum of Clive, Debbie and Martin, dear mother in law to Tracy, Alan and Sandra and a dearly loved and cherished grandma to all of the grandchildren. Janet will be sadly missed by all of the family.

Family and friends please meet for the funeral service and cremation at Cowpen Crematorium Blyth on Friday 10th January at 12:15pm.

Afterwards all are welcome back to the Northern Social Club Ashington.

Family flowers only please. A donation in lieu of flowers can be made to Wansbeck Hospital Palliative Care Ward after the service.

Please wear some bright colours at Janet's request.

Still coming to terms with knowing we won’t see you again grandma, such a big hole you leave in our lives. You were so kind and funny and loved by so many. Baby Freya will grow up know just how special she was to have met you. Forever in our hearts Emma, Michael and Freya xx

Janet was like a Grandma to me. I grew up with her granddaughter Deborah. She used to make us laugh all the time with the "monsters coming". Happy times. Janet, you will always be in our thoughts. Until we meet again. Love Lisa, Lee & Katie 💙💙
